The recent Realms Deep 2023 event showcased a variety of upcoming retro shooters for the Nintendo Switch. Here are some of the highlights:
WRATH: Aeon of Ruin (February 27th, 2024)
A Quake-powered FPS with a release date for PC, but no specific update on the Switch release yet.
Inspired by road movies and featuring Ion Fury’s Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison, this game is confirmed for the Nintendo Switch but has no release date yet. A demo is available on Steam.
Kingpin: Reloaded (December 5th, 2023)
A remaster and enhanced version of the crime-themed first-person shooter, releasing for PC on December 5th, 2023. No mention of the Switch release in the latest trailer.
Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition (Out now)
This high-octane first-person shooter is already available on the Nintendo Switch.
Graven (January 23rd, 2024)
A dark fantasy FPS exiting early access on January 23rd, 2024. No update on the Switch release, but it was confirmed for the system in 2021.
Ion Fury: Aftershock (October 2nd, 2023)
An expansion to the original Ion Fury game, launching on PC on October 2nd, 2023. No current information regarding a console release date.
